Some fashion bloggers and professionals of the industry got the honor to attend to these conferences and lectures at the Museo del Traje in Madrid, in which we could listen to many different experts and pros of the industry.
We discussed about the future of the blogging field and especially the saturated present. Is there too many blogs? How can they survive? How can we make the difference? Keep reading and let me know what you think about all these matters!
There were too many interesting books over there and I went a little bit crazy about it, couldn't choose which one to buy, so I ended up getting lots of them! I highly recommend the book store of the Museum, they have way too many interesting books related to fashion.
The first lectures debated about the future of fashion blogs. Are they done? Its obvious that they have had their big influence for the last couple years, and it was a huge boom. But we're talking about business after all, and everything that goes up has to go down somehow. Is this market over saturated? I think yes, it is. There are too many blogs out there and most are the same and vague copies of each others. Which makes you think, who am I making a difference? If I was a reader, why would I follow my blog? A lot of thinking to improve oneself!
Another interesting matter that I asked one of the lectures (that happened to be a reporter in Vogue Spain) is that if fashion blogs can become a competence or cooperate somehow with fashion magazines. She really couldn't give me an answer, she just said "blogs are no competence for fashion magazines". I think there are a huge background behind my question and she didn't really answer it, so what do you guys think about this?
There were some more conferences about Fashion Blogs like how to make a difference, legal support for bloggers, belgian keys to export talent, luxury branding...
For those who missed the season, you can check out the videos of every conference here. It's all in Spanish, but still I hope you all learn a lot and make up your mind about what current blogging is.

So now it's your turn. What do you guys think about this?
